Hi Mark,
I am in Wentworth Falls, NSW. Well on the way restoring a circa 1961 with 226 motor.
Tell me, have you got trafficators or seat belts in yours? What is the legal position at least as it is in Victoria.
John Exner
Hi John,
I am in Brisbane QLD and am currently in the process of restoring a 1964 willys truck with the tornado 230 OHC engine . Mine has trafficators, and seat belts were fitted to mine I will be posting some photos soon I am currently having trouble getting the rear drums off any suggestions as I need to O/H the brakes any info would help regards.Could you send me an email on ian.preston8@bigpond.com
John Exner, re: the requirements of Seat Belts, I drove mine many years without them. I registered the vehicle at Vic Roads with out them. I beleive that the requirements re: safety is that it comply with the standards applicable to it’s year of production. So it can have no belts. But I have just put a set of belts i removed from a Cherokee full size to be safer in an accident.
James Mullins,

Awesome looking vehicle. Are the axles original? Also, what tires/size do you have on there. I really like that that it looks original, but seems to have a modern radial on there.
