I just got this FC-170 DRW Stake Bed. It is a 1961 with 9353 miles, 4 speed, 4×4, hoist bed 9000lb GVW, 6-226, and all numbers are correct. It runs great with very good upholstery.
The last three pics are of a Holmes 500 wrecker body. I purchased it from a local wrecker co. The last two pick are made up of two pics each to give me an idea how my project would look. I will start in the spring.
Update: I completed this restoration the end of April. It took about three years. It is a 1961 FC-170-DRW. It is equipped with a Holmes 500 cable wrecker. That is PTO driven from jeeps PTO. The colors are all factory available in 1961 on all jeep models. Tropical Rose, Burgundy, White and Black. These colors also relate to some cancer ribbon colors. Burgundy and white is head and neck cancer that I had.

A great example of a really rare and cool dually. The DRW FC’s were the highest GVW Jeeps ever built, even higher then the J series dually trucks.
