This 1952 Willys M38 has been with me since my youth. I rebuilt it in 1980 when I was 22. Curiously the Jeep every day is younger, as I can not say the same for my body. Now I will add this (improved)  trailer that has inside: kitchen, water, refrigerator etc. and is ready to go on great family adventures. I’m also finishing two more M38s for my 2 sons who will join for a great adventure in the coming years at the desert of Atacama – Chile. That’s the wonderful Willy’s life.
Update: 4-1-2015
Our recent trip of over a thousand miles down the road in northern of Chile (where the desert begins). Traveling with my wife for different places, mountains and beaches.
Our M38 1952 was very photographed and filmed, several new friends were made by road, many bikers who felt a healthy envy to seeing us very comfortable sitting in this beautiful machine and running at 70 MPH without problems, due to good maintenance, service work and many new parts replaced, all supplied by my friends of Kaiser.
Free into the air feeling the smell of grass and earth in places where we find drizzle, also near the sea you can feel this great feeling of to be on the waves.
All comes down to one sentence.
“Travel on a Willys and feel the life”
Best regards

What size tires? 7.50-16?
Your jeep looks fantastic and I admire your handiwork and travels. What did you do to your jeep to allow 70 MPH speeds and handling? My is a 1953 M38 A1 that does 45 MPH down hill with a tailwind….
Great looking M38. Sounds like some great adventures too! What have you done to your M38 to run 70MPH? I’d like to know more about your mechanical improvements.
Drago, nice jeep. I really like the color. I am going to paint my jeep and would really appreciate it if you could tell me the color code you used.
Drago,
Your M38 jeep is awesome restoration job well done. I admire your enthusiasm taking the 1000 mile journey
as a couple. When i was a young man used to do some adventures similar like your’s.
Congrat again and keep up what you’r doing.
