My uncle bought a 1958 Willys Pickup truck from Kansas in early 2016. Me and him fixed it up together and he sold it to me. It had the original 226 super hurricane Engine. I had to sell it and sold it on September 24th, 2017 and I really wish I still had it. So I posted an ad on Kaiser Willys website looking for the truck and a guy contacted me on August 19, 2019.
He come across the ad and said that he had a 1953 Willys Truck with the original 475 four-cylinder engine that his grandfather bought new and used as his company truck. He owned a dealership and would use the Willys in parades and running around town for work with his company logo advertised on the side of the Willys Truck. It has 30k original miles.
After his grandfather passed away he ended up with the truck and thought I would like to have it. Since I was looking for the 58 model I told him I’d be happy to buy it. He loaded it on a trailer and hauled it from its then current home in North Dakota all the way to its new home here in Gulfport, Mississippi. I bought the Truck on August 25, 2019 and look forward to seeing where the old four-wheel-drive takes me.
