I am restoring a 47 cj2a, want to put a 283 in it. I have looked at some sites on small block chevy to jeep way conversions. Have you got any information on the proper way to get this done, publications or web sites.

Hi Fred,
So sorry I did not see your post back in late February. I can take a photo of the cross member bar we had to weld into my 45 to get the short block 350 corvette in it. I am running a dyna in it. My neighbor Ted did most of the work and I just helped him. He was a master at getting it just right. He has since passed away recently.
