Jim we owned one for seven years it came fron California there was no rot on it . it sat in a garage in tonawanda ny for thirty five years . all original the only thing missing was the trouble light we donated the use if to the VFW in alden ny . all the original canvis was still on the jeep looked just like new all original markings totally unmoleasted . your jeep is awsome ! a lot of Vietnam nam vets have used it . you will here hundreds of stories . Another surivor !!!!

  3. If your truck is U S Army then the paint code is 24087. If its Marinr then the code is 34052. These are both Vietnam war era colors.
