Our Willys was purchased in 2004 as a barn find in Omaha. For my wife and I, it was LOVE at first sight. After purchasing from the original owner’s wife, we brought it back to Oklahoma and parked it in our barn where it sat untouched for 11 years. In the fall of 2015, our only daughter came to me and first told me she wanted to get married and that secondly, she wanted to have a farm wedding on our farm with me taking her to the aisle in the Willys! I had nine months to do a frame restoration with no short cuts. We wanted it to be perfect for our daughter.
Our restoration project was completed by our family without our daughter knowing what we were doing nor was she updated on the progress. Nine months of family members working on the Willys, the Frame off Restoration was COMPLETE and with 48 hours to spare prior to our daughters wedding. The first time she was able to view the Willys during the restoration, was on her Wedding day. When she saw it for the first time it was tears of JOY for ALL! With only 17,000 original miles, our Willys was a frame off restoration bringing it back to SHOWROOM original condition. Our restoration process would not have been possible without Kaiser Willys – Thank You for making our daughter’s special day AWESOME!

Amazing rebuild and with a really cool cause. 9 months is crazy fast. I’m so envious! I’ve been frame off restoring my cj3a for 7 years now and hope to be finished within 2 years. And I thought I was going at a good pace! Congrats and enjoy that beautiful truck!
