It seems you are in short supply of DJ-3A pics.  My project is two years so far, and currently in pieces, but even the ‘before’ pics attached can show the character and differences of a two wheel drive DJ.

Two years ago, this was found at a yard sale after 15 years of being under a tarp, and it’s unique logo ID’d it as the one my uncle owned, and I rode in as a kid in the 60’s.  It is a 1962 Dispatcher-DJ-3A, he called “Nellybelle”.  I bought it and am giving her a total ‘makeover’ with the help of KW parts.  Hope to be done by end of year.

I had the pleasure of owning a 1956 dj3a in 1971. It was my first car, purchased for $200, driven for two years and then passed onto another youngster. It was the most fun vehicle I have owned. I just purchased a 1964 dispatch from a local family here in Ohio. It is virtually identical to yours. I hope to eventually restore it also and would like to follow your restoration progress.
