Hadn’t run for 5 years. No title. No brakes. Came with a Chevy 327 V8 and manual 4 speed. Had to replace most of the externals — carburetor, distributor, alternator, fuse block wiring, etc. More recently, had to replace fuel pump and have carburetor cleaned/rebuilt — plugged up with rust dust from metal tank. Installed a new neoprene tank. Had to replace some studs. (Didn’t know about the left hand threads). Unstable front suspension. Installed heavier trailer leaf springs and moved shackles from front to back. Top speed was 45 mph. Replaced rear axle with 1976 Wagoneer dana 44. Now cruises at 2000 rpm/60 mph.
