I bought this 1970 cj5 Renegade 1, from the original owner, back in 1987. I was 27 years old, and had just wrecked my 73 cj5. It was totally restored the year before by someone else, it was a beautiful burgandy paint job, with a 8 point rollcage, very well built. Anyway this 70 cj5, had a blown motor and had been sitting in a car port for a couple of years, The old guy told me it was a special one, and I just thought he was trying to sell it to me. Well 15 years later, i found the internet, and discovered how many Renegade 1’s they made, then I understood what he meant by special. Well since then I’ve had 2 kids, grow up and their friends, listening to stories about the old blue jeep in the garage, and going for occasional rides when it wasn’t broke. My son, who is now 30, bought a 2006 wrangler, with an automatic. We, me and the wife, loved it so much, we bought a 2005 wrangler, also. So a long story short, my daughter used to love to ride it the old jeep when she was younger. Now , she is in her 30’s, and has a daughter who is 5 already, who just loves to go for jeep rides also. She has her own little electric jeep already, that she works on like pop pop. So we are an official 3 generation jeep family. It’s taken me those 3 generations to finally get it painted and to the beach. And it is now time to drive it, while I can still fit in it. Lol. It’s got the original v6 225 buick, T14 3 speed, warn overdrive, 4:88 gears, 2 and a half Rancho lift, and 31 inch tires. It’s Sierra Blue with the black renegade 1 strip. And it will be passed on to the next generation, when i’m done. This love of jeeps started when I was 15, when a friend of our family took me for my first ride in his jeep, and his Dad took me for a ride in his land cruiser. Changed my life forever, bless them. Thank you for your time, and website. Mike Goff
Hopefully my e mail changes went through. I’m requesting a catalog for 41/ 71 kaiser/ jeeps. Been looking for another jeep for many years.

Good day,
I did not see any pictures of the Willys Overland package vans in your selection. I own a few Cj2As, a 1949 Willys wagon 4×4 serial number 0006 and the most rare is my 1948 Stor-dor. I have not been able to find much info on them and was wondering if anyone would like pictures.

I have a 1953 Willys pickup, that has been in the family for 25 years. It needs restoring, but find it difficult to locate parts. It seems all the parts have either rusted away or been crushed. The truck only has 17,000 miles, as it belonged to a local vol. fire dept. and needs only minor pieces to start the restoration on the body. I have purchased many parts from K-W and I am grateful they have a good supply of replacement parts.

Great photo gallery. How do I submit a pic?
I love this site – but I do not see ANY ’64 Kaiser Jeep Trucks with the Gladiator hood and the Thriftside (stepside) bed. Mine is a J-200 4×4 with the 230 Tornado engine in it. Its listed and pictured in the Kaiser Photos of the Gallery section. It is now with a restoration shop being totally off-frame restored.
So, does anyone have one like it???? I’d really be interested in knowing if there are any more out there.
Thanks
Great site I will be sending you progressive photos of my 1964 willys truck during the restoration here in Brisbane Australia. It is a new venture for me. i found it under a cover jn a back yard it had not been run for 22years a battery and a little fresh fuel and the engine started on the third attemp I was thrilled it had only done 71000 miles since new and two previous owners. will keep you posted.
