In the spirit of Valentine’s Day, we’d like to celebrate some of our favorite Willys Jeep couples with whom we’ve had the pleasure of crossing paths! WARNING – this might get a little mushy. There’s no love lost here – and we THINK the Jeep might have a little something to do with it. Just saying… We hope everyone has a great weekend and happy Jeeping!
Pictured above, Gary Hann and his wife. “My 1951 CJ-3A Jeep was a wedding gift from my bride-to-be. We stumbled across it in a field of a family friend in rural South Carolina about a year earlier and spent the remainder of the weekend talking about how much fun it would be to restore it and then take it into the mountains for camping trips. I proposed to her a few months after finding the jeep and, in my proposal, told her I wanted to spend the rest of my life working on vehicles with her (something we enjoy doing together).”
Pictured above, John Tracy and his wife.”This early 46 CJ-2A was purchased used in the late 40’s by my great grandpa. It was used as a farm vehicle until the early 70’s. After that it sat until 2011 when I started to restore it. I had the great honor to include it in my wedding photos this August. This Willys is truly a family heirloom and will carry on the traditions of our family for years to come.”
