Here is a picture of my 1962 CJ5. It has a factory Perkins diesel engine and it runs great. It has a set of shutters over the grill as you can see. They are controlled with a twist lock on the dash. It also has a Ramsey DP-1 front and rear pto, Warn overdrive, front and rear power loks, and two auxiliary fuel tanks built into the rear fenders. I've had it for a few years but just got it on the road last August. It still needs a little work and I can't wait for spring so I can drive it around Boston some more. Let me know if you want some more pictures. I'd be happy to share. Thanks, -Dean

1962 CJ-5, 134 F Head - Purchased in Oct. 2011, recently finished a 7 month refurbishing including new radiator core, brakes and a fresh coat of paint. Seats that came with it were not original, but with some luck, we were able to acquire a complete original set for front and back. Motor ran good from start, needed only to have distributor rebuilt. My son Dan & I did all the mechanical , body and paint work. Reliving the memories of our 1969 CJ-5 and a 1946 CJ-2A that we had years ago. It has been a great Father and Son project. Doubtful this one will see a long cross country trip like the 1969 did, dragging an 18\' Camper Trailer, to Philmont Scout Ranch in New Mexico, but will see lots of local miles with the grandkids.

This CJ-5 1972 was semi abandoned in a House with a Datsun 1200 engine and got the original Hurricane engine. Are all reconstructed: engine, chassis and bodywork, with original parts. New paint. It meant a year and a half of work to make it well. As occurs. Is in Guatemala, Central America.
