We got lucky and came across this jeep for sale at a garage sale one weekend. The jeep appeared to be really original and in a great shape. I had never heard of a Tuxedo Park before and it really got my attention. We left the garage sale, went home and looked up Tuxedo Park CJ-5 Jeep’s on the Internet. I found out that there was only 4,126 Tuxedo Park Mark IV CJ-5 Jeeps Manufactured in 1964. We went back to look at the Jeep again and verify the Vin#’s. The Numbers all matched! The guy selling the jeep was asking $5,000.00 for it and we ended up purchasing it for $3,500.00 . Since I got the Jeep, I have removed the Safari Seat they had mounted to the Rear, Fabricated a Cargo Carrier in place of the seat, replaced all the brakes, new fuel pump and gave it a tune up. This jeep has been one of the best investments. I have taken this jeep hunting three years in a row and it has performed excellent.
