Ovidio Patiño Montoya

This is my CJ-3B 1953 that I have been restoring for the last 4 years. I started this project with my 13 year old son in Manizales, Colombia South America to teach him discipline and commitment to any endeavor in life. We drive it on weekends around the city and in the countryside with my wife and my son. It is my son’s first car and hopefully he will keep it and give it to his children.

  1. looks like locking hubs front and rear,is are they just used for towing convenience or to save the more fragile drive train components from damage on some rough trail use. far easier to change out a broken hub than a drive shaft/ spider gears and other inner gears.i have a 3b also yours is in much better shape than mine is you did a nice restoration.
