John Taylor

This 1954 Willys has been in my family for 26 years. With the help of my wife’s uncle the three month long restoration is complete.

  1. I do believe I saw this beautiful jeep drive past my house Sunday evening. I was outside and heard the sound of an old transmission whining up the road and see the front of a jeep so I wait for it to pass and it is a CJ-3B. A nice coincidence since my buddy just recently bought a ’54 CJ-3B. I was telling him about the one I saw and he told me about this site and showed me the catalog. As I was flipping though I see a picture of this jeep and say hey that jeep I saw looked just like this, then I noticed the Texas plate, that’s got to be the same jeep. So I checked the website for more pictures. Sure is a small world sometimes. You did a great job on the restoration and thanks for driving it. Me and my 2 young sons really enjoy seeing classics out on the road.
