Frederick Kemman

My grandfather bought this Jeep new in 1952. He ordered it with the a PTO and Monroe lift with the intention of using it to maintain property he owned in Pennsylvania. I remember bouncing in the passenger seat while my Dad dragged a bush hog around mowing the field. It last ran in the late 70’s so I never got to drive it myself but I will be able to finally do that soon. I have not done a complete restoration as I like to see the character marks that show it’s life as a work vehicle. The hard top was purchased from Sears sometime in the mid 50’s when it became clear the original canvas top was inadequate for Pennsylvania winters.

  1. Nice idea to leave the “battle scars” on the Willys. They look a lot more rugged that way. Nice photos. It has character!
