For years Sarge sat on a piece of property we would pass every summer as we made our way to our Adirondack cabin. We always commented on what a neat truck it was and how fun it would be. Last summer, as we were driving by, there was a FOR SALE sign on it. We stopped to check it out, spoke to the owner, and bought him. We are the third owner. The second owner had owned Sarge since the 60s but never registered him. He was used as a work truck on the property and the owner wasn’t sure of the year of the vehicle. The motor, transmission, and all other running gear along with frame are original. We restored Sarge to his original color. Finding his serial number proved to be a challenge but we located it on the frame on the driver’s side just behind the front bumper. Restoring him took a little less than a year. We had wire him for tail lights. All 4 cylinders have 120 psi. Next up, a Bimini top.
