Special bodies of the Willys Station Wagons and Trucks were produced from 1954 to 1964. One of those interesting variations is the Cargo-Personnel Carrier Truck. The CPC was a Truck with an open top, standard doors and a fold-down windshield. The rear body was flush sided and similar to the old WWII Dodge Weapons Carrier. It was built in small numbers from 1955 to at least 1961. Many of these were sent overseas and became military vehicles for various uses. Some were sold commercially in the US but did better overseas. We want to thank Brent Miller for sending these photos of his newly acquired 1955 CPC. Not much information is available about these interesting vehicles so if there is anything that anyone would like to add feel free to contact us!

Rare, but ugly.
This is truly a cool looking rig. Good job. Never seen one like this. Just shows you there are still some very interesting different military vehicles out there to be found. Anyone out there know where another one of this little jewels is hiding?
This is a very interesting, unique vehicle. I belong to both the AmericanTruck Historical Society and the Antique Truck Club of America but have never seen one of these before. Great find! I wonder what the GVW rating is.
