Battleship gray, restored with L134 engine. Runs great. I like it without the canvas top. I ordered all the parts from Kaiser Willys to make it run like a champ. I purchase the Jeep from World Wide Vintage Auto in Denver; had it trucked to Los Angeles then shipped across the pacific to Guam.
I have two older brothers that shared the story of my dad owning a WWII Jeep that he got as a gift from U.S. Navy Seabees. My Dad drove it for years in his construction business during the early 1950s. He drove it until it would no longer run. During my Navy days all military vehicles where 1970s to present time. I always wanted to have a Navy Jeep and finally when I had the money to get one, I went all the way to find one, and haha, found it at Denver. This is the only CJ-2A on island at this time. It’s a head turner since Guam is a very patriotic island with lots of military veterans to include Navy retires that serve during WWII. I fly Navy and U.S. colors during military funerals. Thanks to Kaiser Willys for all the parts I ordered to keep this jeep running and in making this Jeep the “Jeep 1” on Guam.
