This 1952 Willys CJ-3A was acquired three-years-ago from the previous owner from Virginia had the Jeep for eighteen-years. The previous owner completed the paint/body restoration. Stainless-steel was added to the body and the tub was bed lined on the inside. In 2015 the Jeep was moved down to Atlantic Beach, Florida, to the new owner’s home. After spending some time with the Jeep the owner decided it was time to further the enhancements on the Willys. The Willys was brought to Happy Trails 4×4, in Atlantic Beach, Florida, for several major changes.
Below are some of the upgrades:
4.3l Vortec V6 conversion
Motobilt CJ front bumper
Warn VR8-S winch
Factor 55 Ultrahook
Falken Wildpeak A/T tires
Kaiser Willys front disc brake conversion
Rancho 2.5 inch lift
Bestop seats
Bestop bikini top
Hydraulic clutch
Custom roll bar
Overdrive
Drop down pedals
Now the Willys spends time at the owners cabin near Maggie Valley, North Carolina. The owner says the engine conversion was much needed to get up the mountain to the cabin!
