On the 75th Anniversary of D-Day in Normandy, France we would like to Remember and Honor those that fought and fell. D-Day was important for World War II because it was the main Allied invasion of continental Europe. It was this invasion moving the war to two fronts that allowed the Allies to finally defeat Germany. “Operation Overlord” was the beginning of the end for World War II. June 6th, 1944 will always be a date to remember.
