1949 Willys Truck in Texas. My first Willys… Always liked the looks and wanted one. Now I am afraid I am addicted and will look for another to add to my collection.

Progress still going well on the ’49 PICKUP. Kaiserwillys, y’all got some great parts and super advice.
All who are doing your Willys project, I highly
Recommend you use a rust stopper product, then put in a heat/sound barrier
(see my pics) . It really makes a difference. Also rust encapsulator works great, then a Paint over Rust (POR)
Product works wonders. A rubbing compound, then polishing compound
Will get rid of dull dead paint, and bring back some paint shine.
Best to all. Stay motivated, take pics to appreciate your long hours and hard work
And document it for later.
Best to all Willys folks, especially my fellow PICKUP
Folks…..ain’t NO pickup like a Willys!
GOD Bless our Troops!
