It started with a picture off your web page around 4 years ago . I saw a lifted Willys pickup on your site and fell in love with it . I was looking for a Chevy body to replace the rusted out hull of an 82 short bed I had. I bought a 62 Willys truck first and bought all new brakes for it after determining it was to nice to be a donor for my project. I then found the 50 Willys on a Cherokee or Wagoneer frame it wasn’t original so it was bought to start the Chevy running gear transplant. The bed had been shortened 10 inches to fit the wagoneer frame, so I decided to extend the cab 10 inches instead of the bed. We cut it right behind the doors and added the 10 inches as well as new floorpans and a firewall. All the plumbing will be new on the frame brakes, fuel lines and gas tank. The 700r4 has been rebuilt and the 350 Chevy is waiting its turn as I type this. Body work continues as well. I have posted pics before and cant wait to see it finally done. Thanks for your efforts to help me replace the Willys parts I have used on both my pickups. I also have a Maverick wagon waiting in the wings for its turn.

well the old truck has come a long way since this picture. the cab has been extended 10 inches and its getting ready to come to rest on an 82 chevy frame with a 350 and a 700r4 tranny with 35 in tires.
