This is my most recent addition to my “family”. I think it is what is left of a 1948 Willys Truck. It has the 134L4 engine, a 3 speed on the tree tranny and 4 wheel drive. With 5.76 gears it’ll go about anywhere, just not very fast. I love driving this vehicle out on my deer lease and giggle at the poor freezing fools with their $12,000 mules and side by side utes !!!
I also have a 1978 Wagoneer, 401 V8 Big Block, Turbo 400, 3 1/2″ lift and BFG Mud Terrain radials. The third member of the 4×4 family is my 1988 Wrangler. We love ’em all !!!

Nice deergettingbrushbeast. I’m about to transform my ’62 4WD Wagon from my daily driver to my dirtdigginmudderbeast. With all the rust and my inability to perform presentable body work, recent purchase of a nearly rust free, almost original(stock 350/granny gear 4 speed/Saturn OD) ’59 4WD pickup that will become my daily driver, & the transplant of the 383 stroker/built TH350 this past summer the decision was easy. I love seeing pictures of classics, like yours tailored to suit the owners’ wants and needs. also where I get a lot of ideas.
Hey Bob; did you work for Tramco in Everett WA. ? I have a 1948 Willys Panel hot rod starting to do the paint job on the body. Dave T.
