I have a 1956 pickup with the L- 226 Superhurricane and I know for a fact that the engine is a Dodge Blue and I noticed yours is green (oops). DALE
Bill, do you have any other engine pictures? I am restoring a late production 53 pickup with the super hurricane engine that is supposed to be painted garden green. I am on the hunt for pictures to identify the proper colors for all of the brackets, linkages, and accessories.

making progress on my 1955 this summer, hope to have wiring finished and engine running before we head back to Arizona for the winter..Iowa too cold for us.
