Double tube custom chassis, full race cage. Stretched 42″ with second suicide door added to passenger side. Added 18″ to width of body. 502 stroker big block motor, Dana 60 axles with ARB lockers, 12K winch. On board air and welder. Full custom leather interior. Custom suspension. Power ram steering. This started as a regular restoration. I ended up buying 3 junkers for parts when a friend did a drawing of an idea to take the 3 and make one big one. It’s now makes a full size truck (like the one behind it in the picture) looks like a mini truck.
Michael,
Nice job! Very useful conversion. I see that you did a single piece tail gate and I am wanting to do the same for my 1951 Wagon.
My project uses a 360 AMC v-8 with various goodies Edelbrock heads and Performer intake, Patriot shorty headers, Holley Terminator EFI, Comp Cam 256/268 dual duration, MSD Ignition, custom built Wizard aluminum radiator, Dana 44’s, 3 speed manual with Dana 20, Aluminum wheels from Wagoneer (6 bolt), 34 x 54 ragtop and more.
Please share details on what you did.
Thanks in advance!
