Darrell,
I just saw your post about some color references and photos. If you still need them shoot me an email at robert.pulliam@boyd.kyschools.us. I have a few pics available. I only have a few sources of actual Willys Forest Service vehicles. This is the only wagon I have found any record of. I know it’s a true forest service wagon because of the gov’ tag on the glove box, the color, the vehicle number was 3030 and there are still outlines of the original Forest Service shields on the doors. I’ll give you all the info I have. Sorry I never saw your comment or I would have responded much sooner.
Looks like a great project! I have a very similar ’54 that while it wasn’t originally forest service here in CO, I was thinking of at least doing standard forest service paint – do you have any color/photo references for your work you would be willing to share?
That purdy girl makes that Gov Mule look lots better!
