Your M38a! looks Fine! I been the proud owner of one for years, but I am not trying to keep it at 100% First time I pick up our son from school in the jeep he was so happy. But when I took a slow turn and the sleepy lad almost fell out. Well all our family wear seat belts tied to the Frame. Turn Lights add to look military in style and still 24v. Did keep mine in a 2.5 Duce Raised it’s bows 2′ and added a 60deg slide out ramps (with support) and did the Rat Patrol Movie, 1954 USMC Radio Jeep with semi 30ca (with age that was given away to police friend who runs range). This Chaplain DAV never fired it, can not here ~FL.(Veh)
Have to say, not to manythat look as good as yours. Watch out for that channel rust the oak will get you ever time.
PS just so they Know its true! Their are real VET stories of these jeeps with their back pipe and front stack traded for pipe and the vents cut in for deep water “well over” top of windshield work .. used to move load over underwater cable line. At the time I did not accept his story for the cargo did not match the jeeps early=late war loads. But His story checked out.
Just like the story of the jeep that can run on just 3 wheels. The USMC M44 might mite. Two main versions, both a ——no reorders. got stuck in sand it was so light. Yes I found one and sent it to a good home. Keep up the great work! History Alive tells a real Story!
