Kevin-
I like your 48 Jeepster. How long have you had it and did you do the restoration yourself? I am the Technical editor for the Willys Overland Jeepster Club and I maintain a serial number database for reference only and I also have a growing photo base of Jeepster owners. If you would care to send me the serial number on your Jeepster, I will include it in my database and will also include your photos. I will not release any personal information without your express permission. I usually only refer to certain vehicles by serial number or year when I answer questions about Jeepsters.
Our 48 Jeepster is Luzon Red, like yours and we have had it for nearly 37 years and about 8 years ago I upgraded the front suspension and powertrain to keep up with traffic here in Phoenix. I also own a 1953 Willys CJ3A restored to original and a 1960 Willys Jeep DJ3A Surrey, also restored to near original condition.
