This Willys Jeepster was located in Lima, Peru where it has likely been for several decades. It has evidence of several hard collisions as well as heavy usage on Peruvian roads (known for many potholes and speed bumps!). It’s 4-134 L engine was in pretty rough shape and has received many minor modifications (carburetor, adapted to 12V etc.). As with most old cars on the Peruvian coast, rust has taken it’s toll but not to the extreme. We have not been able to locate VIN numbers to verify the model. Dad (Tom) and I have tinkered with several antiques. Our first restoration was a 1934 IH pickup back in 1990, then in 1999 we found and restored a 1929 Ford Model A and now this Jeepster was gifted to us. We live and do missionary work in Peru (Dad & Mom since 1967 and my family since 1996) so this is our father-son relaxation hobby!
