New Replacement Oil Filter Cartridge – Part#: 909335
Q: Will this filter work on a 1944 GPW? I have a hard time finding filters.
- A: You want to use part number: 119952
Q: Will this filter fit a 1963 CJ-5 with a 134 engine and is the hole 1 inch diameter?
- A: Yes, this is the correct filter. I believe that is correct.
Q: Two rubber gaskets. Which goes where? I have oil running out between the canister and cover and have tried each of the gaskets on the top. Does one go inside the canister on the bottom?
- A: Just use the one that fits on the top of your canister, that is all you need.
Q: What is the proper oil viscosity to use in my 1951 CJ-3A?
- A: SAE 30 or 10W-30 I would stick with non-detergent.

Hi Mark,
There is a very very small pin hole on the center shaft about a 1/3 of the way down. This creates the oil pressure. If you have any further questions give Mike at Kaiser a call toll free 1-888-648-4923 Mon-Fri 9AM-5PM and he will be happy to help you! Have a great day!
The center shaft inside the filter does not have any holes to allow the oil to flow through to the outlet hole. Should it? How does the oil get to the outlet hole if the threaded hole on top is plugged with the cap hex bolt?
My jeep had no filter, so I have nothing to compare to.
Thanks
Mark
