New Fuel Pump Pressure Regulator – Part#: 12804
Q: After replacing fuel pump and carburetor do I need this? 1950 Jeepster L134 motor.
- A: This will regulate your pressure if you find you are putting out too much fuel.
Q: Could this be why I get to much gas in my oil?
- A: This regulates your fuel pressure. I wouldn’t assume so.
Q: Is this regulator adjustable? I run a solex carburetor on my CJ-2A and the fuel pressure should be 1.5psi.
- A: Yes this is adjustable.
Q: Does this regulator require a return line?
- A: I don’t believe so
Q: Can I use this with an electric fuel pump?
- A: I believe you can.
Q: Hi guys, am I right in assuming there are just two pipe connections on this device…. one in and one out (no tank return line?). Looking at the mounting bracket I assume it is fitted to the body, close to the carb… presumably this is connected to the carb by means of a flexible hose? I’ve just replaced the Carter WO carb with a solex. I assume the fitting of this item is mandatory ?
- A: You can mount this about anywhere. It really is just how you want to run your lines. That is correct it is just a in/out connection. It reduces your fuel pressure.
