New Replacement Dual Action Fuel Pump – Part#: 120206
Q: Is it proper to work with unleaded gasoline?
- A: Yes, this will work with modern day fuels.
Q: When I removed the old glass bowl fuel pump from my 1963 CJ5, there was a metal spacer between the engine and the old fuel pump. Do I need to use this with the new pump?
- A: Yes you will want to reinstall. Our part number for it is: 866236
Q: I’m not running any vacuum off of the pump. Can I replace this pump with pump #119240? It’s the new pump w/ primer.
- A: Yes but on the 4-134 F engine you may have to rotate the diaphram to clear the front engine mounting plate.
Q: Do you have a fuel pump for an M38A1? And if so, what is the part number?
- A: MFUELPUMP is the part you need. We have to have your core in on the M38 and M38A1.
Q: Is there a way just to order the insides of this pump? Such as the Diaphragms and gaskets.
- A: Sorry we only have complete fuel pumps.
Q: How would this plumb in a 1960 CJ5 with vacuum wipers? One tube must go to the wipers and the other goes where?
- A: The small bowl is for the fuel. There is a in/out outlet. The large bowl is for the vacuum.
Q: Does this pump have the pressure fitting for the PCV system on it? The pump I have is a AC 4032 it is the glass bowl type it also has a fitting for the vacuum wipers and the PCV system. Will this pump work? And does this pump have a sediment bowl with a screen?
- A: This is a complete fuel pump that operates both the fuel and vacuum lines for your wipers. Yes it does have a screen for sediment in it.

I’m working on a 1958 FC150. I have tried two different pumps and one rebuild kit. The first two ‘new’ pumps, one put out 28 psi. It had a purple spring in it. The second had a gold anodized spring and had 25 psi. I ordered a rebuild kit, that had the yellow spring, and it puts out 15 psi. Of course all three make the carburetor over flow. The carb is rebuilt, and I have tried several needle and seat configurations. Why cant anyone just put in the correct spring to get the pressure around 2 to 3 psi? Yes, I know I can put a pressure regulator, but why not do it right in the first place? As a side note, I ordered a rebuild kit for the dual pump from this site. The kit is item number 810636. The box had a date of 11/72 on it. The rubber parts seemed good, but all the cork gaskets were in pieces in the bottom of the box. The kit number on the box was part # RK126, with original number 2910-633-8115, DSA 700-72-C-0472. I guess this kit had sat on the shelve for 50 years. The other issue with this rebuild kit was the two arms that push the rod for the vacuum diaphragm. They are a pair with a left hand and a right hand mirror image parts. This kit had two ‘left hand’ arms (or “right hand” depending on how you hold your tongue as you look at them). So I had to reuse the original arms… not a big issue…..
I’m going to head to the hardware store and see if I can find a really soft spring with OD of 0.875 with a wire diameter somewhere around 0.050 and 2″ long.
If that doesn’t work, I’ll order a pressure regulator and drive around mad.
Hi Jim,
The tubes are vacuum. For any parts or tech questions feel free to give Mike M. a call toll free at 1-888-648-4923 Mon-Fri 9AM-5PM EST or email mike@kaiserwillys.com and he will be happy to help! Have a great day!
for this pump are the tubing lines at the bottom of pump for fuel or vacuum
I had to run 3 gaskets to reduce my fuel pressure. The closer the pump is to the block, the higher the pressure.
Just a note about new fuel pumps in general.
New pumps are better than the original, much better diaphragms and – as it often turns out – higher fuel delivery pressure. The Carter YF carburetor, used on both the F-134 and L -134, doesn’t handle excess fuel pressure very well. This is especially true if the carburetor uses the original needle inlet valve and has an oversize inlet (>.077″).
The YF likes 2-3 PSI, but new pumps can deliver 8-10 PSI. Resilient inlet valves and seats are more tolerant of excess pressure, but don’t be surprised if you need to add a fuel pressure regulator with a new fuel pump.
Been there, done that, 2 PSI works great!
