New Replacement Temperature Switch in 12 Volt – Part#: 914847
Q: Do you have the Station Wagon gauge that hooks up to this sender?
- A: Please call us toll free. I have a few options.
Q: Where is it located on the block?
- A: Typically on the passenger side of the cylinder head. About in the middle.
Q: I have original 6 volt gauges with a transformer thing (?) so that the 12 volt system works for the 6 volt gauges. So do I get a 6 volt temp switch or a 12 volt.
- A: It depends how you have it wired up. I would consult your local automotive electrician.
Q: I have 6 volt gauges with a transformer so they work with the 12 volt system. (1956 6-226 4WD Pickup). So: Which voltage sending unit do i need: 6 or 12?
- A: The sending units work on either 6 volt or 12 volt. They work on resistance.
Q: Will this work with the F134 Go Devil engine?
- A: Yes that is correct.
Q: Will this work with the 225 Dauntless from a 1966 CJ-5?
- A: I’m sure it could with a fitting.
Q: Do you have existence of the stock #914847 temperature switch? For my Willys Truck 1962.
- A: Yes that is correct.

Hi John, Please call me toll free 1888-648-4923. Make sure to ask for me Mike M. I can take care of you. Have a great day!
I have bought both temperature sensor and fuel floot unit neather read correctly. At 180 deg with a dial temp gauge the dash gauge barely moves off the red mark, what can I do?
From the time I installed the fuel gauge sending unit it always read 1/8 of a tank, I carry 5 gallons of gas and have “tested” only ran out of gas twice, any suggestions?
