I hope to give this jeep another 70 years!
Thanks for making the catalogue a downloadable document. Now building a library of Kaiser Willis’s catalogues for posterity.
Have you already announced the 2022 photo contest winners for the catalog? I haven’t seen anything yet?
Thankx……………Jom
Hi Rick,
Send us as many photos as you want! You can send them directly to fall.contest@kaiserwillys.com to avoid the 4 photo limit. Have a great day!
I have three questions, bear with me:
1. I noticed in the last couple of catalogs, there were up close up photos of different parts of vehicles (engines, body parts, etc.). Do we submit these separately
2. Can I submit one set of pictures for the catalog (portrait) and another set for the calendar (landscape)?
3. Finally, can I submit multiple pictures (more than 4) for both the catalog and calendar?
Thanks in advance!!
How can I see the photos of the participants?

In 1955 with two friends I drove a CJ3B from Brazil, where I live, to Alaska and back 73.000 kms in one year plus.
Last year I took part – now in a newer Wrangler – in the “Alaska or Rust” convoy that drove the Alaska Highway to celebrate its 75th anniversary.
Have millions of memories now compiled in a book that I finally wrote after many years of being carried away by other activities. It´s called “FLASHES OF AN ADVENTURE” editted In English and Portuguese with a large amount of original pictures.
I have just restored another CJ3B just like the one used in the original adventure, which was named “OPERATION PINEAPPLE” for reasons explained in the book. Used many items supplied by KAISER WILLYS and runs beautifully.
The book can be obtained in the US through Fernando Vidal (386) 898-2217 Port Orange – FL or op.pineapple.book@gmail.com
As I was dismantaling the Jeep I took about 150 photos and labeled many of the parts, especially the electrical. When I started putting it back together I found that was not enough pictures or labels.
As you know I’m from ISRAEL I Love the Willys .
Thank You
Hyams
Love the catalog!
much enjoyment
Michael Parker. I have done research. What I did not realize was that in 1953 they changed the model from 473 to 475 and dropped from the 5 bar grille to the 3 bar grill. I thought that it was done in 1954. So that is why I questioned it. My truck photo is in the photos and is the truck with the log pile.

Hi Folks:
I wanted to submit the photos in portrait format to make the cover but did not know how to do so. If you can, please feel free to do so.
Thanks.
Chris
Scott,
I have not seen a pucture of your vehicle, but you need to research some Jeep history. Willys Overland merged with Kaiser in 1954. The last model year for a Willys Overland was 1953. In 1954, they became Kaiser Willys and in 1971 Kaiser Willys sold to AMC.
das ist ein 1953 modell.
2002 wieder restauriert und läuft ohne probleme
I have a 1963 jeep cj 5 manufactured by willys overland. Before its last owner it spent some time as a state park vehicle I believe in Oregon I bought it as a running, driving vehicle. after driving for a few weeks I had a good idea of what needed fixed. The transmission and transfer case and front axle all needed gone through. After a few weeks of down time in my garage those are all now fixed with the exception of the front axle is it still in my garage all torn apart waiting on parts that are currently in the mail. Soon the engine will need to be rebuilt. It has a Dana 25 front axle and Dana 44 rear both with 5.38 gears, has a Dana Spicer 18 twin stick transfercase with a Koenig model 51 pto mated to an old Ramsey pto winch. And a T90-A 3 speed tranny with 4 cylinder F-head engine. I’m 25 years old, and I am hoping to restore the jeep totally original except for the seats for safety sake.
