My Willys pickup is my farm truck and daily transportation. It is used for everything from pulling a fertilizer wagon to feeding hay to my cattle. It is very versatile and has never left me stranded or stuck. My wife of 41 years, Pam, and I drove the Willys from Northern California to Northern Arkansas in June of this year, with no air conditioning and no radio and we’re still married. It took us 7 ½ days and averaged 12 mpg. We saw and smelled sights that you never see blasting down the Interstate at 70 mph. We named him Waldo. Where’s Waldo now? He sleeps indoors in my Man Cave, beside my 1952 Ford pickup.
