Looking for, Willys Jeep Parts, Willys Jeep replacement parts, Willys Jeep body parts and much more for your 1941-1971 Willys vehicle, you have come to the right place!
You are in the Jeep haven for states. Great runs. Get the trail stticker for the maintenance of routes and go see Redcone mountain the Black Bear Holy cross city corkscrew gulch Engineer pass and many others. I have.
Very cool! Just beginning to restore my grandpa’s ‘47 Willys that has been in our family for over 70 years. He and my father also primarily used it for hunting with his old hunting party. Also, what my grandpa taught me how to drive in 28 years ago in The San Luis Valley. Hoping to have the same result, cruising around Castle Rock and the mountains to the west. Great looking Willys ya have there!!!
Rachel, Did the Pumpkins fall off when you drove it? Nice Jeep though. -SG
To Jeep owner;
I have had the opportunity of vacationing in Colorado many times flat towing my CJ-2A and have seen many of the ghost towns & mines. Fro the telluride’s infamous black bear road ( ingram pass) to the buckskin joe arrastra near mosquito pass by leadville and above all red Cone mountain out of grant. I was just told enough to drive the first time I was guided over red cone, and had as they call it a baptism by fire. If properly adjusted the 9″ brakes work just fine without the hydravac booster. I found that out that day. I envy you your location for access to the high country as we had a family friend in Hudson we would visit and join the Mile-hi’s all for fun week. You can buy a sticker from Colorado parks for your vehicle that helps pay for routes maintenance to keep the routes open. A good investment for the future.

Dan, I had a CJ-2A as my first jeep, and have part of the aftermarket spare tire tailgate mount around that, I think bestop or someone of the like made. If you would like these parts you are welcome to them.
Dave
Great story, you’re a lucky guy.
Especially like reading that your CJ-2A is driven around town frequently. Love seeing old Jeep “Head Turners “on the road!!
Glad to hear he stood by his word. Good for you!! Mines a 54 3b. Running gear all restored, trying to find an original body. There aren’t many org. Body’s worth restoring in Maine. I’ll keep looking, sooner or later one will show up. Patience!!!
