I wanna thank you guys for helping me keep my Willys Fleet in tip top shape for all these years. The “Black Beauty” is the princess of my fleet, its a 1949 Jeepster which I had painted black with green accent two tone, it’s been modified by the previous owner to have a 1952 F-head six which gives this ol’ girl a nice comfortable ride especially with the overdrive.
I procured “Middleton” (1954 jeep wagon 2 wheel with F-head 6) as a donor vehicle for the princess, its equiped with an identical overdrive, tranny, and engine. He was rescued from a barn and the radiator was packed with acrorns! Much to the chipmunks dismay, I got the ol’ wagon to turn over then I realized that “Middleton” (after his former owner Middleton Train) was no longer a parts car. He is still a work in progress, nonetheless an object of beauty.
The “Red Devil” (1947 CJ2A) is my fun workhorse that I use to plow and haul hay for the goats. My wife likes to drive the red devil in the summer without the top. The top is an original 1953 Sears Roebuck aluminium half top that provides dryness and warmth in the winter months.

I have a 1949 Jeepster that is now in about 10,000 pieces all over my garage. I have found every part needed to completely restore it but the Door Release Latch Mechanisms.
If anyone out there has or knows where I can find these please let me know.
