My Willys Jeep 1942/43 as found last summer! It came to Norway in 1953 as a part of the Marshall help to the Norwegian army. I have just started going over the jeep last fall. I am now waiting for spring and summer since I don’t have a heated working place and have to do my restoring work in summer (May - September). I live in a small copper city up in the Norwegian Mountains and we have long winters and short \"green winters”.

The number of the frame is: MB 203812, but I think the chassis is older since it does not have any “glovebox.” When found last year in a barn house, it also had the complete winter top on, but I took it off for the summer. With new petrol pump membrane and 6V battery, cleaning of petrol tank and tubes, changing of all oil and greased all parts needed, it started and is running very nicely.

Greetings from Svein Roll.
