This M38 in Navy Seabees was orginally restored by John Jonas and his father from Trenton, NJ. It still carries the Seabees emblem honoring his father’s service in Vietnam in 1965. When the Jonas’s owned the Jeep it was the senior first place winner from the Antique Automobile Club. This was a tribute to their fine restoration. Since my purchase of the Jeep in 2011 it had the motor, transmission, transfer case, steering and front axle along with other miscellaneous items completely rebuilt with the help from Kaiser Willys. I just recently purchased an electronic ignition distributor. My next purchase will be an overdrive. The Jeep is named Kilroy and it is a labor of love. Above all this is a tribute to the men who have fought and died for this country. I thank you for your service.
