I bought this Jeep from a roadside stand in South Ga. back in 1996. Towed it back to Colorado and used it for a work vehicle for several years. I decided that I needed to do a lot of work on it because of how rusty it had gotten in Ga.. So I had a friend that had a large workshop where I could store it and work on it during the winter months. In removing the body, (pictures 4 & 5) I discovered that only one bolt held the body to the frame and the rest was so rusty that it could not be put back on the frame. I ordered a new tub, from you folks plus all of my other needs, (pictures 9) less grill, hood, fenders, & tail gate, which are still original. I have taken a lot of ribbing about painting the Jeep blue because not many people realize that the Navy had Jeeps and they were blue (spent four years in the Navy (1949-53). This Jeep is NOT a Parade Jeep. It is a working Jeep that I used every day at my home in Colorado, which is located above 9,200 feet!
At present it is not as good looking as in the pictures.
