I have every paper where my dad ordered this Tuxedo Park Jeep in 1965. It has been mine for 19 years now and I have put about 5000 miles on it bringing the original miles to 34343. There has never been rust on it because it lived in the south west. The original Indian Ceramic paint faded to a lovely Pepto Bismol pink and my daughter and I hand sanded and painted it the original paint code but went with a concept paint instead of the original enamel. I have done everything in my power to keep it as original as the day he bought it.

I’ve always admired the Tuxedo Park option. It made for a beautiful vehicle that most folk envy for good reason today. You have done an excellent job at keeping her original, she looks great. May she live a loved long life !
Wow! Great labor of love and what a great job! I’m a Willys Jeep person myself and really believe in keeping them original. Thanks for posting this as it is very much appreciated.

PS — I was with (I don’t really remember though) my parents when they purchased our 1946 CJ-2A which I still have and my son and I drive it a bit in the summer. It will be tough to get ours to look anywhere near as nice as yours.
