111: Grant Wehrfritz’s 1949 Willys Jeepster
I found this car sitting in a barn for over 20 years. Bought it and it sat in my barn for 4 years before I started the restoration. It was a frame off and about 5 years later it was done. I restored it as close to 100% original as humanly possible. For example the fuel pump I found had no glass bowl and the original did, so after hunting around I finally found the one I needed. Another was the top most of the new ones are vinyl but the original was canvas, and I found a company that made it out of canvas.
I was surprised to find how easily and readily parts are available. The real shocker was the re chroming cost, but the company I found did a better than excellent job. Thanks for looking at my Jeepster.
