216: Steve Hearn’s 1953 Willys M38A1
When I originally got it it was in a semi gloss olive scheme with fictional full color markings representing a Canadian Signals unit. It was in overall good condition but had a couple of switches missing on the dash and required some minor work on the transmission and drive train and as might be expected a little body work. I decided during the restoration project to outfit it to represent a “recce” vehicle from my old unit the 1st Hussars (Canada) I added the 70’s cam C-42 radio GPMG mount and wire cutter.
