149: William Murray’s 1957 Willys CJ-3B
I acquired this 1957 CJ-3B in December of 2012 . It was originally a civilian Jeep but someone painted and lettered it to look like an Army Jeep, olive drab w/stars & letters. It was in very rough shape when I got it except for a new clutch and rebuilt engine. It was a labor of love for me and my 15 yr old daughter and 13 yr old son. With a lot of help from Kaiser Willys with parts and advise. We put it on the road in late May and have been having a ball with it ever since. Everywhere we go we a lot of questions and compliments.

another 3B cool deal, see first comment thanks.
Glade to see someone revert a vehicle back to what it was originally. This holds true in reverse for the military jeep’s, Some collectors do not realize that when they modify their vehicle , it devalues it, both financially and historically. This means putting turn signals on them, changing from 24 volt to 12 volt , electronic ignition and so on. You may as well put balloon tier’s on them and make mud vehicles out of them.
Nice Dog!
