hello Terry, This is the first 2wd- 4 lug Dispacher I have seen anywhere with the sliding door top and body cut outs like mine pictured above. I was 15 when I purchased mine in 1971 for 50 bucks with a blown piston and it had the top on it but no doors. It was a Mountain Bell service vehicle when I bought it. I took the top off and put it on a CJ2A and customized it for my mom to drive to work, and made the winshield for the DJ and rebuilt the engine and my dad drove it around for years until he passed away in 86. It sat in my moms yard until I went and retrieved it 3 years ago and brought it to Yuma and now have it running again and drivable. I had to make slider doors for mine back in 71, I couldn’t find the doors then, good luck finding them now. I have not been able to find any front or rear 4 lug axle parts available anywhere. The rear axle had been replaced with a five lug when I bought it, and it is common CJ2A. Feel free to email me with question or comment at dpaschall@yumasun.com. Thanks for posting your dispacher photos. Dave
Terry-
I am trying to compile a listing of DJ3A Jeeps by serial number. If you can find the number on yours, and you want me to include it in my list, please email me at: colins60vette@cox.net.
My Surrey is pictured above yours on this listing.
Thanks,
Colin
