Jose:

Man that is FANTASTIC one of the BEST I have ever seen.
A lot of Time Effort and Money went into that. I love it when people keep it Original.
I see a lot of things you have done that other guys just forget all about. Especially the 4WD or the rear gate. And the Web Loop on the grill I could go on for ever about your Willys.

Do you have all the History Original purchaser papers and etc that would make a great thing greater.

While looking at your Willys I actually get the Willies from excitment.
Perfect was achived in all phases.

God Bless you and the Willys both.

Dear Chuck

I recently found your two pictures of your willys pickup on the net and was very intested in the information that you had listed with the pictures.
You see I have come accross a very similar willys pickup that is resting in california and has been given to me. Now when I started some research on the engine, I couldn't figure out what in the world was in it. It surely is not a willys engine, and from what I could find online it sure looks like an old studebaker 6 cylinder.

Which leads my interest to what you had writen in reguards to your pickup being repowered. Can you tell me more about these continental engines? Why did they get repowered and why is there so little info that can be found on them.

Thanks for your time!

Dean I live in Indiana and restoring a 1966 CJ5 with a 192 Perkins diesel engine. I was wondering if it would be possible to receive up close photos of the engine compartment. Your help would be gratefully appreciated. Thanks.

This looks similar to my '50 Jeepster. Mine has been modified with a 283 Chevy Corvette engine, traction bars and a hydromatic. Will start working on it when I finish my 68 Commando.

Hello Barry,

I am curious about the back of your wagon. From what I see in your pictures it should have the standard drop down tail gate and not the double doors of the delivery wagon. Can you confirm and or send me some pics?

I have a 1964 4x4 delivery wagon that was factory modified for the Forest Service. It has the double doors of the delivery wagon and side windows cut in to be similar to the station wagon. It also had the fenders flattened on top for the fold up bench seats that were also factory installed. I am trying to decide if I want to mount this on a shortened 1/2 ton GMC frame I have or keep it more stock. It is the only one like this I have seen since I bought my first 1949 utility wagon in 1984.

I would love to see what you are doing with your project. Please update when you can.

Thanx, Chris

LOVE the Jeep. It's a great inspiration. I'm doing up an early CJ5 in Sydney, Australia. Thanks for sharing your work.
