My 1968 CJ-5 was purchased by a friend in 1968 and I acquired the Jeep in the 70’s. I used the Jeep for everything from hauling wood to joy riding. I have three daughters that all learned how to drive in the Jeep. I have eight grandkids that have also learned to drive in it. I now have two great-grand boys that I seriously doubt will learn to drive in it even after the two year restoration it has gone through. The Jeep has become a part of our family and is filled with love, memories, and joy. It’s not only withstood grandchildren but the fact that six of them are boys! The jeep has stood strong through all of the adventures that have come its way. Kaiser has been a big part of restoring the Jeep back to its original condition with the help of Distel Restoration. My youngest daughter, Jenni drove the jeep in the 80’s at age 11 and as you can see she is still enjoying it in the photo of her standing in front of it as it is today. Here are photos of the jeep prior, during, and after the restoration.

It’s good to see all the positive comments. Bringing a vehicle with that much history back to be enjoyed by generations to come is always exciting.
VERY nice jeep (and daughter)! You did an excellent restoration! Is that “Star’s Mill” in Georgia?
