I have owned this Willys 3B since 1977, best investment I could have made as a 20 year old! A few years later I met a girl and we would go 4 wheeling with friends. The girl in my Willys that I crossed a local river with is the girl I eventually married and I’m still married to her. Back in the early 2000’s she asked me “what are you going to do with that old rusted jeep?” I told her that I loved her.. but the Willys was here to stay. That put the bug in my ear to start working on a restoration so the body was removed and sent out for new panels, while I started on the frame and drive train. It took a few years but in 2013 I had it running again and just this year painted the rims white. Right now I’m happy with my Willys, it turns a lot of heads when I cruise down main street, and I get a lot of thumbs up from newer Jeeps.
