  1. I thought you might like a few more details. It is a ’55 body on a ’54 chassis. It has taken five years to get to this point, and I am planning on driving it for real this summer.
    it still uses the F-head engine, but i have added power brakes, hanging pedals, and a hydraulic clutch as well. I am still tuning the carter carb. It is proving to be pretty challenging adapting from my fuel-injected Jeeps to this one.

  2. One of my favorite jeeps . The color is PERFECT !!!!When you step back and look you can appreciate all the hard work that was done . And how many people say that is frakin cool . where did you find it .Or is it for sale ? Just about everyone loves a old jeep. We use our jeep just about every day .Our jeep was put up on the blog the other day ( shore patrol ) we love to share our stories with old jeep fans . Do you take it to car shows ? We have shared hundreds of stories with our nations heros .
